REPORT ABUSE
Reporting Resources:
If you experience sexual harassment that rises to the level of violence or assault, you should immediately contact law enforcement (9-1-1).
- Record each incident of harassment, noting date, time and people involved
- Inform your employer, supervisor and or talent representative
- If you are a minor, inform your parent/legal guardian, Set Medic and or Studio Teacher
- Seek confidential support from your employer or community resources.
- Report the Incident to local police
File a complaint:
- California Department of Fair Employment & Housing (DFEH)
- Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)
- State of California, Department of Justice, Suspected Child Abuse
Complaints filed with DFEH or EEOC are automatically cross-filed
Behaviors that may be sexual harassment:
- Unwanted sexual advances
- Offering employment benefits in exchange for sexual favors
- Leering; Gestures; or displaying suggestive objects, pictures, cartoons or posters
- Derogatory comments, epithets, slurs or jokes
- Graphic comments, sexually degrading words or suggestive or obscene messages or invitations
- Physical touching or assault as well as impeding or blocking movements
